I gave up learning to drive a few years ago, after failing my test. I then decided this year that I was going to finally try again. Trying to find an automatic local instructor where I live was like gold dust, plus I didnt want to do the whole one lesson a week again. So I went looking for an intensive course and stumbled upon B.D.S. I read lots of lovely reviews and recent pass stories, and this filled me with confidence that this, is the company I wanted to learn to drive with. From the minute I contacted them through to actually booking and paying for my course, Donna was extremely helpful and encouraging. My instructor Mike Joannou rang me a few days before my course to say hello, and to discuss details for when I arrived. Mike is a friendly, calm and patient instructor who filled me with confidence from the minute I met him. I passed my test with only 1 minor fault and thats all down to Mike. I have had lessons with a few different instructors over the years, but I can honestly say hand on heart, Mike Joannou is THE BEST! I would 100% wholeheartedly recommend B.D.S to anyone who is looking to learn to drive whether it be for lessons or an intensive course. You will not regret it trust me!

I learnt to drive with BDS and passed just yesterday. I started with Stephen (my first instructor) who taught me the basics in his Vauxhall Corsa. I then decided to do a 20 hour crash course with my instructor Liz in her Mazda 2. Liz is a very good instructor with good methods. As i am only 18, with a low income i worried about the expense of learning to drive but BDS is cheap and cheerful which was just what I needed. It was a easy and enjoyable process and I definitely would/will recommend! Thanks for helping me pass!

 After years of on and off driving lessons with various driving schools, I found Paul Tilling to be the most patient & helpful instructor. Always made me feel at ease throughout lessons and got me to my first time pass! I would highly recommend BDS.

Doug is a very responsible and experienced driving instructor.He corrected my bad driving habit and explained very well while i was having my lessons. Because i am a foreigner due to my english level, he put alot of efforts for explaining the road and safety, i couldnt ask for more than that ! And can't believe ive done it in 16 hours ! 🙂

 thankyou to my driving instructor I passed my test today something I never believed I could ever do my nerves was insane right at the beginning of this journey but with the help guidance and patience from my instructor mandy who I'm happy too say has now become a friend of mine and non of this would of been possible without her she told me too believe in myself as she believed in me and that is priceless those words when u feel low and not confident gives u that little something that lights a fire in you too push you thankyou for everything mandy most of all thankyou for pushing me and thankyou too team bds too especially Donna for all her help with finding my perfect instructor I would recommend this company too anybody
